Under the auspices of an International Organisation, YARD Empire conducted two training courses in Theatre Arts at The Rio Cobre Juvenile Correctional Centre, Spanish Town. The first course took place July-September 2017, and the second February-August 2018. Additionally, selected staff and warders were trained in skills to form and lead a Drama Club through which the institution can continue the training of wards. At the end of the training courses, participants successfully staged performances in the areas of music and drama.
