DENNIS ARCHER

Director

Dennis Archer, born in the Parish of St. Catherine, attended St. Andrew Technical High School from which he advanced to the University of the West Indies (UWI). He is publicly acknowledged as an acclaimed business man with over 25 years of experience in the trading and sales of automobiles and is currently the Managing Director of Auto Craze Limited since April 2006. Prior to his devoted engagement as an active stalwart of the Kiwanis Club of  Stony Hill in 1995, he was the managing director of Dunrobin Auto Brokers and Urban Contract Carriers Limited from the year 1990 to 2000. During His time as a Kiwanis member he  attained distinguished status in 2001 after serving as president of the club in the year 2000 and is still an active loyal member. He served in several capacities and is  currently on the Board of Directors for the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission  (JCDC) since 1995. He is also one of the founding board members who established the Spanish Town Young Men Christian Association (YMCA) which is involved in the development and recreation of youths. Additionally, he diligently served as  Parish Chairman for St. Catherine in the 1980’s and also a representative on the JCDC board at the time. Mr. Archer is well renowned in the fashion and beauty industry and founder of Steps Model Agency 1999. Formerly he served as a judge of Miss Teen Portmore, Miss Jamaica Festival Queen, Miss Jamaica World and Miss Jamaica Universe.

 

As an astute business man, he is praised for his expertise,  professionalism and also his consistent and dedicated support for charity. He personally believes in  and support organizations that aid in the maintenance and development of our youth and culture.
